It was one of those very useful lessons - I can remember the agonising of 'should I spend this lovely coin that I've kept for so long?' and the almost immediate regret that I had. It was the colour of the lolly that was so tempting - a chalky turquoise, so different - but tasted just like eating toothpaste.
Ha ha! I love spearmint.... Not too sure about a spearmint ice lolly though.
