Difficult to tell in the dark
whether blackness of sky
is due to lack of the sun
or imminent pouring down rain

    Rain. Trust me. (If you can read that with a very soggy voice it would have more impact)

    Looking at the totally cloudless sky now it would be difficult to believe - but I was wet enough to do so, thank you.
    (I am tying out soggy voices, without a great deal of success)
