Too bad tempered with the river, or so bad tempered you might want to throw yourself in? Sometimes I just feel too bad tempered to do anything, no matter what it is.
Nothing so dramatic as throwing myself in, Jenny - just low-key 'can't be bothered' grumbling, exacerbated by door-to-door salesmen and an irritating husband (mine!)I do aim to go today!
