Green-dirty greyness of the frozen pond
birds-foot scuffing damage to the bank
negates the crisply pristine whiteness

    I am in a white world, too - but written-over with tracks and markings. It doesn't stay pristine for long - and that's part of the beauty of it, I think. Lucky you to have a pond just outside your window!
