This made me smile because I've just had an instantaneous experience of how ingrained habits can become: I went up stairs to measure the mattress (to buy a new one) and automatically took my slippers off at the side!
Ha! And I wonder if I will ever stop pressing the wrong button on my new clothes dryer just because it's in the same spot as the correct button on the old one. Nice stone!
That's because subconsciously you're expecting this one to do the same.
